The Potpourri staff is hard at work getting ready for production. We're covering the German Christmas Market, Second Saturday, the Candlelight Tour at the Tomball Museum Center and the Magnolia Christmas Parade... it is a busy day.

Fake is the rage
According to an unofficial online poll conducted by The Potpourri, more people will be hauling out fake Christmas trees from storage this season.
The Potpourri polled its online readers last week asking, “What type of Christmas tree will you put up this year?” Of 35 respondents, 21, or 60 percent, selected “A fake tree.”
Real pine trees came in second with 10 responders, or 29 percent of the vote.
Four people said they would not put up a tree this Christmas, making up 11 percent of the online vote.
